It’s not too late . . . is it?

I’ve just read an article by one of my Twitter friends @missrachilli and felt I needed to offer a little bit more advice to students and graduates looking to get themselves out there and in the industry.

First of all let me say I can’t really disagree about the social networking side of web design as the last two jobs I’ve had in the industry came from seeing recruitment tweets and following them up. I also agree with the opinion that without publicising yourself no one will ever know you exist.

I also think however there is one thing that has been possibly over looked by the article, I’m looking at the this from a student/graduate perspective in this instance.

Just starting out? Here’s some help

Are you just starting out in web design? (Even if your not this may be useful).

When starting out in WordPress and WordPress Theme Development to the complete beginner it can be quite intimidating when looking at the WordPress Codex.

It’s Been A While

It’s been a while since my last post, although my posts previously were part of my HND in Interactive Media [now FdA Web Design] course.

I intend to start passing on some of the knowledge I’ve gained as part of my so far pretty short career in the Web Design industry.

To get you up to date I’m now working full time in Leeds as a Front End Developer and also doing some freelance web developing from time to time when the mood takes me.
